Avatier Joins the Liberty Alliance Project

 

 

Identity and Access Management Products Support Alliance’s Network Identity Standards and Vision

 

San Ramon, California – April 18, 2005 – Avatier Corporation, a leading provider of global Identity and Access Management solutions today announced its membership as a Sponsor of the Liberty Alliance Project, a consortium committed to developing open standards for federated network identity that support all current and emerging network devices. Avatier joins industry leaders to promote uniform identity authentication standards that ensure protection of data and users while enabling businesses to easily conduct transactions.

 

Through the sponsorship, Avatier will offer its extensive industry expertise to aid in the consortium's effort to develop an open and interoperable standard for federated network identity and identity-based Web Services. As a Sponsor of the Liberty Alliance Project, Avatier will work with other industry leaders in developing standards promoting the secure creation and management of federated identities for organizations worldwide.

 

Avatier will also play an active role in communicating educational and industry news from the Liberty Alliance to its customer base of over a thousand organizations while incorporating the project’s specifications into its Identity and Access Management product suite to further enhance product interoperability.
